Ok. Done with yesterday's drama. I hate drama. I love intensity but I hate drama.
So....lets move on.
I am watching my sister's kids tomorrow so she and her hubby can go watch the ball game. He says that my moving out here was great for their marriage. They have 3 kids and don't feel comfortable asking other to watch them...guilty because it's more than one. I am happy to do it...and they listen to me...and we have fun. Last time I watched them we laid out blankets over the living room floor and had a slumber/movie party. I made popcorn and we watched Mortal Combat movies. What fun! They came home and we were asleep in a big heap on the floor.
Sunday is the family yearly picnic reunion. Should be over 60 there this year. It's the same weekend every year, same place, same time. It's nice that we all still get together like that.
Ok...fun photo for you...and boys...you finally get to see the face...
This was taken after a Studs Turkel book signing at a Barnes and Noble.

He is a writer that enjoys gathering stories from seemingly regular people. You know, we all have great stories. Anyway...so my cousin buys his book and gets in the line to get it signed. I had the book at home and wasn't really into buying another just so I could get it signed. But I wanted to have fun so when we got to the table I got down on my knees, pulled my shirt down a bit and asked him to sign ME. Now, this man is in his 90s or something like that. He got this look like a little boy and said "OH BOY!, Ive never done THIS before!" So everyone laughs and the next thing I know a gazillion flashes go off from cameras. When he was done, he looked at the line and said "Who's NEXT!!" It was fun...and I took this after.

1.35 am...barely a Gem. Well, you're in regardless! I was born in Georgia, raised in Texas, moved back to Ga. when I was 15.
I read your journal entries...so sorry for the recent heartache...
And yeah, I did kinda enjoy myself. My first couple of photos sets were a bit stiff looking coz I wasn't at all comfortable with myself, but I'm starting to look to the bright side a bit more!!
