Ok...so I had an apartment sale yesterday and it went really well. Almost everything is gone! Now I have all this lovely space...and a whole month to pack! woohoo!
I decided to make the living room my bedroom for a while so I could use my bedroom to store the packing shit and be able to close the door and still feel like I am not living amoungst boxes.
I brought out the blow up mattress and pumped it up. Slapped it right in the middle of my living room! Plugged in the TV and rented some movies for the night. If you look closely, you can see remnants of my Michael's Hot Dogs order! ;-)
I also popped open the my trunk that is filled with some of my old stuff. I found some of my (greatly loved) stuffed animals from when I was little.
Here is a picture of "Bunny" (the brown dog) and "Dino" (the turtle)...they were married in an elaborate ceremony! You can see where I colored Bunny's eyes with purple marker. I had ripped them out because I was mad at my mom one day...so I just colored them in. I was about 5. I used to carry dino around by the neck so it doesn't have any stuffing left. Note that HIS eye is also ripped out. And... I had a fixation one week with transvestites after I went with my mom to Polk street one day...so I took lipstick and put lips on Dino...deciding that he was a transvestite!
And last photo of the day...Sam...my freaky german shepard stuffed animal with the plastic face! I LOVE this guy!
