That was a fun weekend. But damn it feels good to be home. Sometimes it takes something like going to your hometown to make you remember how great you have it back at home. Don't get me wrong, I think fondly of Norcal every once in a while but I don't really consider it home anymore. Norcal is more of a novelty to me now. So the Scottish games were fun. We had our share of scotch beer, whiskey, meat pies and haggis. I think I gained a couple pounds just on the booze alone. I got Aidan a kilt which made my father extremely happy. I could tell that he was nervous about the games being the Chief this year and all. I'm glad that we could be there to support him.
