I narrowly escaped passing out yesterday. What fun that would have been....baby walks into the kitchen from the livingroom to find his mommy bleeding and laying on the floor. Many of you don't know this about me but epolepsy (sp) runs in the family big time and I don't have it thankfully but I do tend to lose consiousness when I feel pain and see blood. I have fully passed out more than a dozen times and almost have too many times to count. I had to use that really nice, really sharp surated knife. I had to make sure that damn potato was sliced and I don't know how to slice correctly. I have this horrible throbbing in the thumb whenever it is lower than my heart. I lost a bit of blood and a couple of bandaids to this cut. And I felt sick the rest of the night because I came so close. If I actually had passed out then I would definately feel a lot worse. I hate the feeling of passing out. I remeber in Jr. High there were these kids in one of the rehersal rooms in the band room who were holding their breath until they passed out so that they could know how it felt. I guess they were getting high or something off of it. Frankly it sucks and I can't image anyone wanting to intentionally do it.
And...then there's smoke.
Dave's office in our house is totally haunted. We smoke but only socially and we certainly wouldn't do it in the house. Furthermore I have been in here for the last hour and didn't smell anything when I came in. The windows and doors are closed so it can;t be someone outside. And dave is in the livingroom playing the xbox right now so its not him. Sometimes at different times at night you can smell cigarette smoke in the office. Once I even smelled it in the main bathroom; while peeing no less! It isn't subtle either. It has actually been strong enough to burn my eyes and nose. I can never actually see it though. Nothing was disclosed about the house. I am not sure that I believe in ghosts really. I can't truely say this place is haunted. IT's just a weird thing that happens in my house. IT's not scary or threatening. Although it's fucked up when I'm trying to pee! I have also heard things in the house but we have only lived here for 6 months. The house may make these noises all the time for very natural reasons. I don't know. It's not something that would make us leave its just strange.

How eerie that you smell smoke in the house. On that, Sage is good. Asking that they leave is also good.
