Well my weekend started off terribly. On Friday Tony and I got all ready to go to Burning Man recompression in Canada and drug all of our stuff down to the garage to pack up my van. As I walked around the side to open the sliding side door, I noticed a *ton* of glass on the ground. Just as I exclaimed my shock to Tony, I looked up and saw that the glass was my side window. Smashed to pieces and all over the ground. And all over my van's interior. Ugh. I let out some expletives, and then looked through my belongings and found nothing missing. I even had a DVD player still in the box, a computer monitor, and a discman among my things. Bizarre. Maybe the idiot broke the glass then got scared off? So that was a relief, but I still have to foot the bill for getting the window replaced, and that sucks. Especially since I still can't find a job. Blah!!
So anyway, we ended up trying to clean all of the glass outta my car and going to Fred Meyer to get some heavy duty plastic and tape, and making a temporary fix of the window. We then decided to leave for Canada Saturday instead. The rest of my weekend was pretty awesome. Canada is so fucking beautiful!! The mountains, the water, it was really amazing. And I'd never been on a ferry before The recompression party was tons of fun. We stayed in a cabin with 8 other people who were very cool, and met tons of other nice people. Saturday was full of fire and fire spinning and partying and whatnot, and Sunday was really laid back and chill. I had a really good time, and now I'm *really* looking forward to Burning Man
