A Likening To Alice
To My Mama.
Mama,
Is it it cold out there
In Wonderland?
You fell down that rabbit hole So long ago
I can't remember your true face
Oh Mama,
I grew up long ago and I don't need you anymore
But I want to know you again
Even if you always run away from me
My mother, my Alice,
Lost in Wonderland at age fifteen
Chasing something you could never catch
Caught now, between life and a dream
Sweet Mama
You say the feel of it
Helps to ease your pain
I see you dying everyday
What will help to ease mine?

Very sweet ... especially the "caught between life and a dream." Are you going to finish it? Or can you ever? Hugs.

through the looking glass. what it means to look so far into yourself and find such nonsense, such absolute insanity. as a child, is the image ever pure. as you grow, your reflection only gets more and more cursed and you have to try and make sense of the strangeness of the window, one of the few we have, into ourselves. some look so hard and see so little. they see what they want to see. those who truly look into the looking glass, see everything but themselves. and that is where the madness lies.
