My long work weeks are impacting my blog ratio. Oh well, I still like what I do.
I had a great week going to check out some of the night life in this town. On Tuesday my coworker (an aging hippie) invited me to see Johnny Winter perform at BB King Blues Club on times Square. I still think it a little odd to have a blues club in the middle of the lights of times square, but then what do I know? Anyway, it was great to see a legend perform, I'm even ok that he played 90% of the set sitting in a chair. Guy's lived a hard life.
Jump ahead to Thursday and my second viewing of the Pretty Things Peep Show. I met with my friend Karen in for coffee and grub in Little Italy beforehand, and we went off in the rainy night to the Highline ballroom to see the beauties and freaks put on a marvelous show. Christine met up with us right as the opener (surprisingly good one man band) started. The PTPS performance was top notch as always, though I still cringe when one of the performers dances and eventually belly flops nearly nekkid onto a pile of broken glass (I'd blocked it from memory the first time I saw it). The highlight may just have been flaming boobie tassels! Holy Shit!
Got to meet some SG members after the show, the local NYC (and Jersey) members are pretty alright. Glad to be in a city where members regularly meet up![smile](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/smile.0d0a8d99a741.gif)

The interview was with a recruiter, so she is looking into a few possibilities for me. Hopefully something will come up! Thanks for asking!!
