I went to the interview, it is ultimately a waste of my time.. The President of the Board told me that they want someone for the position that has previous experience in doing the EXACT same job.. This, I can understand BUT they had my resume - they could see that I've never been someone else's bitch or worked for a school system so WHY did they even contact me for an interview?!? I just took off half a day from work, compensation time, and wasted $10 in gas to go interview for a job I don't even qualify for! She said that they don't have time to train anyone for this position, BUT they really need my personality and drive within their district and to keep looking at their job postings.. Fuck that. The pay isn't enough for the commute and now I'm just plain irritated.

Later that night, I tried to do some stuff to take my mind off the irritation caused by the whole thing and it worked somewhat, but I was more mentally exhausted then anything.. Anthony and I hit up a local chinese restaurant; he ate sushi, I had a combo meal. Then we went with Jynee and Ashley to go watch Talladega Nights... Everyone else enjoyed it emensely, but I'll never be able to understand random stupid humor.. I've always been one for classy "funny" or "sarcastic" humor, not stupid humor that is far fetched or is being expressed by someone hurting themselves on purpose *shrugs* To me, someone getting hurt is funnier if it was by accident and only a mild injury. It sucks that I am like this because I really feel like a minority when it comes down to movies
