I'm sitting here with my new toy, my bf's Dell laptop.. It's nice not to have to sit up at a desk and kill my back The primary reason he bought this was for me, so I could actually go to places outside of my house and write school essays, etc.. My home PC is a problem because I fall asleep or have trouble focusing. If I go to a place like Barnes and Nobles though, for some odd reason - my concentration level raises and I don't seem to get so distracted *shrugs*
As far as my English 1B class goes, it's depressing.. I hate it. Everyone warned me about taking that course during the summer and they are right. The work load is insane! Besides that, I don't feel like I am learning anything because it all comes down to one's ability to understand and analyze the literature. And let me tell you, I am a MUCH better talker then listener so this is a weak ability for me. *sigh* I just can't wait for it to end.. I think it will towards the end of this month and for one time in my life I am just trying to "pass". I'm not necessarily proud of that, but it's true.
Well, on a peppier note.. My typing WPM raised from 62 to 76 in a month without hardly typing The faster the better! Typing speed matters in a lot of positions now-a-days and I think I'm going to start looking for another job with more pay. It's SOO competitive in the valley so it's really hard to find a good paying employer SO I can't risk my current job either
A'ight, enough of 'dis bloggin 'cheet. I have to finish getting ready for work.
Ciao, Ya'all!
