Hello lovelies!!!!
Well, it's picture time! We traveled all the way down the Oregon coast and a wee bit into California to see the redwoods. Without further BS-ing...
The first night out was uneventful. We stayed a little outside of Portland in a chain hotel. It was okay. They only had a room with two double beds.
Ah well.
The next night was much nicer. We stayed in a little, but lovely hotel on the water. Sadly, I was not prepared for the morning.
Yeah, I'm in there.
See?
I eventually did get up, but not without some sauciness.
The first B&B we stayed in was amazing! It was an old house built in 1912. It had been fully restored. Creepy, but cool.
Here is me getting up and ready (not that I wanted to, mind you)
We then decided to go to the awesome aquarium that was on our way south. My favorite creatures were the turtles. You will notice I didn't take any pictures of anything but turtles. Fuck the starfish. I like turtles.
I fucking love turtles! (Yes, I actually am a touch retarded. Move on.)
Mr_Sadface also liked the sea creatures, but he was drawn to the dolphin. Wonder why....
Oh, and Mr_Sadface forgot to bring his trademark Bag O' Sadness. So I quickly drew him one!
Our next stop was at the Oregon Sea Lion Caves. It is the world's largest sea cave. Normally there are tons of sea lions there, but they were all gone when I went. They must have heard I was coming.
I did get to see a pretty lighthouse, though, and took a picture.
Before we went to the next B&B, we decided to go down into the redwoods. They had the hokiest gift shop/tourist trap. Remember at Chucky Cheese's when the band of puppets sang a song? And how one eye was always stuck in that creepy WIDE AWAKE! position? Yea, their 50 foot tall Paul Bunyan had the same problem.
I passed on a photo op with him, and settled on Babe the Blue Ox instead. Notice the huge balls on this "kid friendly" statue? Well, hes friendly all right.
We then got to our last bed & breakfast. It was a big house with a couple guest rooms out on a spit. It was about 300 feet from the waves....it was nice to finally relax.
The next morning we drove the full 8 hours back home. It was an amazing trip.
I am now recovering (sitting on my ass). Miss you all.
♥
xoxo

P.S. Miss D, I am sorry about not getting your message. I turned my ringer off for the trip, and didn't check my messages till I got home. I wish I had gotten to see you.
P.P.S. Anyone who is slightly graphic inclined, I need a banner or two to place on my pages. So if anyone has any free time.....
