Hello dears!
Sorry to leave you all hanging, but I have been a busy busy little bee!
On Thursday, I took off last minute style with a pretty little girl after school. We picked up her little sister (6 years young) and decided to have a day of play. Have you ever just decided for one day that you were going to do whatever felt like fun? No matter if it was a kid's game or an adult's game? Well, that's what we did. We went on little kid roller coasters and merry go rounds. We ate cotton candy and chocolate fudge. We played with kitties and sang to the radio at the top of our lungs....
...it was a blast.
I ended up back at home about 7:00 in the evening totally exhausted, but smiling. I went to bed in my T-shirt from the day...
On Friday I had so much to do it was pathetic. I went to school, then came home and cleaned my little tail off. I was taking off to the ocean that afternoon and wanted to be able to come back to a clean house. So I dusted and mopped, did dishes and laundry. I had woken up that morning tired and I felt like I was going to collapse, but I got it all done.
I had so much fun this weekend. Semiahmoo was peaceful and the food was amazing. The weather was sunny, but cool.
I slept more than you can imagine.
I got home today about 2:00 in the afternoon, just early enough to unpack and relax for a bit before meeting my papa for dinner. He had just gotten back from a vacation trip to Costa Rica and was full of stories and smiles. It was good to see him happy for the first time in months.
All in all, I have had an amazing couple of days. I wish I could stay and write more, but I have an entire play to read before class in the morning, and I haven't even started it. I know, I know. Bad girl.
