I guess it's time I updated my journal. All I can think about lately is going back to the States. I get to see a special someone and i'm so incredibly excited. I just have to put up with some b.s. until I get back and then i'm set. It's going to be really weird being around so many americans. Everyone will speak english. You all take that for granted. But when you spend everyday for 3 years trying to make yourself understood you earn an appreciation for a common language.

When I went home for mid-tour, I felt like I got off the plane at Twilight Zone International.
One of my buddies had to clue me into the fact that I was randomly staring at people and stuff in general everywhere we went.
The crazy thing is that I'm doing a European vacation before I get home, so the insanity factor will be maxed out.
