Ross starring in: Its all about the Anonymity
So i decided to go Anonymous for a while.. it probably only ended up being a day or so.
You cant read the group boards when your anonymous, quite annoying.
I feel like alot of my friends at home seem to be in this constant competition to make themselves seem better than they are, and if i do anything i'm happy with they react to it like im bragging, probably because when they say things like that they are. *shrugs*
I suppose everyone does it from time to time i just feel like maybe i should try and be better than that, lifes too short to spend your time trying to look better than anyone.
Who cares if your ugly, boring or stupid. If thats what you are, thats what you are.
So here's to trying to be yourself. I'm gonna give it a go and see how long it lasts, i have tried to be myself but i think im gonna try a little harder. At the end of the day there's nothing wrong with trying to better yourself or be better to yourself.
I suppose i made the mistake of having a drunken conversation with one of my best friends from home last night. I was just saying to him that these people who you dont see for months, you just dont know what might of happened to them during that time, i came around to this when i was talking about how i'd re-evaluated friendships. Or tried to after Tom died. Its just like if you havent spoken to someone in so long, who's to say how much they've changed, people can change and you still only see the old them, or they act like the old them around you.
I'm not saying i've changed, i'm still the idiot i always was, speaking before thinking as i did last night with Alice.
Any of you seen 'Waking Life'? i'm just watching it at the moment.
Films i've watched this week:
Without a Paddle - actually quite amusing, easy to watch
Shanghai Knights - i do enjoy me some Jackie Chan action plus i was drunk so i thought it was great.
Blazing Saddles - Gene Wilder = genius
21 Gramms - very good film takes a while to get past the start though as it hops around alot (i've seen it before at the cinema so it didnt matter this time)
Album of the day:
The Tears - Here Come The Tears.
I used to like Suede years ago and i've only just started listening to this album.. so far it seems alright. Its new music, something i need more of.
Karaoke songs performed this friday:
Semisonic - Secret Smile
The Beatles - Hey Jude
Call me on my questionable taste in music if you will but i'm quite enjoying Counting Down the Days by Natalie Imbruglia at the moment, its no genius but a good little song.
Tv Show of the moment:
Lost - for all you americans i'm sure your well aware of it etc, but for us Brits its just started on our tv stations. I was tempted to rob the whole series off the internet but i think i'll watch it bit by bit with the family while im home.
The Pirates of Dark Water - i used to enjoy this as a kid and i recently 'aquired' the show to see what i thought of it now, watched the first episode.. seems alright.
I've entered The Sun's 300,000 dream team football game so wish me luck on that. I dont know nearly enough about football to win, so here's to luck! So far there's 7 teams in our little mini league, and if our mini league does well compaired to other ones we'll win money that way too.
Tomorrow i go to see Wigans opening match of the Season, Wigan vs Chelsea as we have 2 season tickets for them. Fingers crossed i dont have to watch them lose everytime i go to see them.

As for work, we had a staff night out on wednesday, really enjoyable night out, we all just had about 6 beers, all working the next day.. just about the only people out in town and just went around a few different pubs. Good banter.
On thursday i was basically in charge of the top shop floor being given two members of staff who usually work downstairs to work with. Mark is fine just doesnt know the floor that well. Ed is just a bit lazy, he spent about 40 minutes 'serving' one customer.. by which i mean sitting and watching them try on shoes giving the occasional comment. During which time i'm running around like a mentalist serving about 12 different people.
I think i'm going to ring up Nottingham Blacks about transferring to them for the start of September this week, its time i feel for a change of scenery.
Just released a new single on The Rockstar Game so fingers crossed it'll get into the top.40/20/10.
I'm optimistic about a top.20 hit
The Chart Update is In: In the UK I've Landed at No.5 in the chart. In the world im at chart position 11. 400 singles away from the top spot in the UK, that'll do indeed
Anyway i've said enough. Wait til i get back to Nottingham then perhaps once again i'll have some interesting things to gossip about. .. Possibly..

Theyre farting around getting a mega meet going for SGUK. I think we should zip in with a Nottingham extravaganza uppercut to the collective face. Bish bash bosh and all that. Say....last weekend of septemberish?
I'll take them ice skating. Because I'm cool like that.
