Its 2.11am and im currently working on Day 3 of my SGParis trip.... so much effort though.
Really this isnt a labour of love.. just a labour.
Anyone expecting lots of great photo's at the SG party will probably be greatly dissapointed.
Here's 3 reasons why i think there arent as many good photo's are there should have been.
1) I only remember taking 1 photo.
2) Apparently i gave my camera away to people during the evening
3) I was very drunk and too busy talking crap.
So dont winge at me if i didnt take your photo or if you think the pictures i have are crap. I'd do it better if i did it again i assure you.
Currently listening to Interpol - Take You On A Cruise (on my radio station) what a good song that is.
I really and i cant emphasise how much this is true... REALLY need some new music.
So any bands... artists that you think are even vaguely worth a listen a song or anything to start with would be super awesome of you to send my way.
I cant be bothered doing this photo journal right now, i've started it and the hardest part is always the start. I'm going out tomorrow night and i may take my camera with me then, it'll be good for a laugh its been a long time since i've taken any photos.
So it may be tomorrow i finish Day3 or it may be sunday... or a few weeks from now i'm not sure.
I got a phonecall from a retail company Blacks, they want me to come in for an interview.. well yesterday actually. I rang them and said i wouldnt be back for a few weeks, they said to give them a ring when i did. So maybe looking at a job there.. which will be ok, i really need the money.
So what have i done since my last Journal Entry.
Well Wednesday night i went to a Multimedia Performance peice at the Nottingham Playhouse.
Basically the premise of it was, an hour before you watch the show the 4 creators run out onto the streets of Nottingham and film an hours worth of footage, returning at 9pm when the show begins to play you the results.
So standing in the queue at 9pm wondering what on earth this show would be (i didnt know anything about it before watching) the 4 stars of the show run past us all in there underwear to the applause of us all. This would be the end of the film we watch. All very clever.
So we sit down in the theatre and watch the show, there's 4 cameras on the screen all side by side, all controlled by the 4 different members and all running constantly and simultaniously with each other.
They syncronise watches and run out into the streets of Nottingham.
There 4 roles are as follows:
- The Hero, he will be saving Nottingham from anything it needs saving from, oh and of course kissing someone.
- The promoter, he will be running around town making sure everyone knows who the hero is.
- The location setter, she goes around looking for the perfect place for the onscreen kiss.
- The matchmaker, she goes into town to find someone for the hero to kiss.
It was all brilliantly executed, we found out at the end all 4 members were sitting at the back and a guy had all three camera's linked into his editing booth to edit as we watched the show, obviously with the cast telling him when to fade in and out each persons microphone.
I wont go into too much detail on it but basically the hero ended up kissing a guy whilst 2 people hugged him, they had several dance numbers, wore rabbit, wearwolf, lion and cat masks, changed through several layers of clothing, and stripped to their underwear whilst going around nottingham.
It was one of the best things i've seen in quite a long time and i would recommend anyone else see them if they are in your area. Here's an article about it as my writing technique is fairly poor.
So after that i went to the Cookie Club for the Indie/Rock night... then came home drunk and deleted a few people off my friends list.
Thursday i went to see the ever hyped Star Wars Ep.III
I did quite enjoy it, the acting and dialogue were pretty awful but thats to be expected from these films. The action was fast and fun and i never got bored by it during its 180 minutes.. or however long it was.
There were some cringy moments such as Darth Vaders "NooOOOoooo" but all in all an entertaining family affair. Another trilogy for kids of today to enjoy.
After that i went to The Social for a few quiet drinks with friends, which was nice.
Today, basically did nothing... extremely unproductive.
And tomorrow i've already been over the plans for.
Right thats the end of another journal update, if you thought that was exciting!! wait until my next 2 or so updates!!!!! WOWZA!
be good to yourselves and each other
xx
