So what have i been upto this past week.
lets think back......
Monday Last day of my stay in Paris. I went to the Louvre, Notre Dam, checked out of my hotel 6 hours late much to their distaste. Then going to the station to find out the train was delayed and finally getting home to my flat in nottingham at about 3am.
Tuesday I stayed in bed an extremely long amount of time, getting up and eating Fajitas and watching tv.
Wednesday I went into town in the hopes of being able to buy Resident Evil 4, i didnt have any luck as it was sold out everywhere but instead bought the 4cd Cure B-Sides and Rareities booklet thingy to cheer myself up. Added because i completely forgot also went to see xrayid's band play live at a gig in Junction7 which was nice
Thursday I woke up and packed up my things putting them in the car and taking a 4 and a half hour car journey back to where i live in the Lake District. Got home and then went round my friends house for dinner and to socialise.
Friday I woke up, pottered round the house a while not doing alot, ate some food (two 3 rashers of bacon and egg sandwiches for lunch) and then a friend came round, we played Half Life 2 a while, chatted and then went out to meet up with pretty much everyone i know in town to get drunk. A good night was had by all.
Saturday Slept in late as i woke up with an wonderfully sharp headache, watched some tv and then went to a social gathering at my friends, we all sat round listening to good music and talking about subjects covering "sign language to the killers" to which would be more suprising to be woke up to, double fisting or single... how very intellectual of us. we did however have an hour book argument during the middle.
Sunday highly uneventful as sundays should be, i watched daytime tv and in the afternoon a friend came over and we watched some Scrubs, laughed at extremely random internet cartoons and sat around some.
so we're back to monday again......
Monday got woken up by a phone call, a friend said they'd be round in a little over an hour. I decide to get up...... an hour later they appear, i havent woken up but actually fallen back to sleep. I promtly get out of bed and get dressed. We drive to a nearby town in the hopes of picking up Resident Evil 4 for a days worth of Zombie shooting. Once again i fail. We instead buy another game.. and an evening of 4player gaming continues.
Its unusual to play games so much now i'm back at home. At uni i generally seem to play them less. Probably because i cant be bothered or maybe i have more to do there... who knows!
Either way.. this has been another... fairly uneventful to eventful week in the life of me. Just thought i'd make a new journal post for shits and giggles.
So what does the next week hold for me... well hopefully i'll get my hands on Resident Evil 4. Spend some more time catching up with all my friends from home as i only have 2 weeks up here. Really need to get some Uni coursework started and it'd be nice if i could attempt to get my photo journal of the Paris trip made.
We shall see.
