I have always had shitty birthdays from the time I can remember. I have only had one, maybe 2 birthdays that won't or haven't caused me psychological damage. Every year someone tries to prove me wrong and every year that someone fails.
I don't mean to sound conceited, as I by no means think that I am important enough in the universe to have had my day of birth cursed. My current research has revealed that August 2nd has had a long history of cursedness.
For example:
- 1999: 278 people died when 2 trains collided in India.
-1990: Iraq invades Kuwait which was beginning of a series of events leading to Operation Desert Storm
-1985: (my actual birth) A thunderstorm causes a plane to crash in Texas killing 135 people
- 1980: a bomb explodes in train station in Bologne, Italy and kills 85 people
- 1939: Einstein urges the US senate to begin research into the atomic bomb, which was the beginning of the end for a couple of Japanese cities you may have heard of; Hiroshima and Nagasaki
- 1934: Hitler becomes Furher, enough said. (Actually Aug 2nd is an overall bad day for the jewish. In 1492 they were expelled from Spain and in 1941 they were expelled from Hungarian Ruthenia)
-1832: After attempting to surrender with a white flag, over 500 Native Americans are slaughtered by US troops in what was explained as a "miscommunication".
- 1776: The signing of The Declaration of Independance. Aka the birth of the United States of America, a land of narcism, uneccessary police actions, obesity and nuclear arms just to name a few.
This is not an exclusive list, however I think it is a nice summary of the August 2nd curse. Now please wish me a happy birthday, but be warned that the universe may spite you by dropping an atom bomb over your respecitve region or causing some sort of natural disaster.
