Well so much for updating Tuesday huh?
Ooops.
So here I am on Friday updating on my week. 1st I got dsl yesterday & it is awesome. I am finally moving up on the world of technology. Slowly but surely. So with that said I saw the 5 minute unedited version of the sg dvd. Wow, I cannot wait til it comes out. I still can't belive I missed last year's burlesque show. I seriously missed it by a week. ugh, imagine that.
So I will be looking forward to a show this fall. And under no circumstances will I miss it. Hopefully anyway.
Ah, yes the gory stories I promised. Forgive me for my mind is a little tired. But I am only up & awake cause I'm doing laundry. Gotta work tonight, so it's either suck it up this morning. Or sleep right away & run the risk of not waking up on time to wash my uniform. I obviously opted for the 1st one. Especially since I have a coffee stain on my shirt.
Anywho, we'll start with Saturday. If anything could have gone half ass backwards it did. Took us an hour to finally get out of the garage. Talk about the damn rig's not wanting to work for us. It was like playing musical chairs but with ambulances. So we got sent to pick up a guy who got cut with something sharp on his neck. Started at his chin & was cut pretty damn deep & about 4 inches long. Didn't know how deep it was til we got to the destination hospital. Talk about being lucky as hell. I mean damn I wish I had a camera to show a pic of this guy's deep laceration. He is so lucky they missed his main artery & his throat & vocal cords & what not. But it looked cool as hell.
On Sunday night I should have stayed home. It was like a full moon out that night. I was supposed to be off but got called in. And did we ever work for our money that night. We had 2 back to back gunshots. One was a 19 y/o shot twice & the dr's were worried it might of hit his spleen. Which would of been real bad. But he made it ok though. The other guy was like 39 I think. He got shot in the lower right side of his back. But the bullet came out through his abdomen. He was sort of in & out. I told my partner to drive like there was no tomorrow. Good thing cause his blood pressure started droping. He made it to the hospital ok but was still sort of out of it. And the last call of that morning, we had this guy who's blood pressure was low. All his labs were fucked up (hemoglobing & what not). Which is what most likely cause his low blood pressure. Anyway he was supposed to get a blood transfusion on saturday. But opted to sign himself out & refused. So there we go pick him up Monday morning. And to our shitty luck he had absolutely no fucking veins at all. His hands were swollen & you couldn't even feel a vein. So again I told my partner to drive like no tomorrow. His blood pressure continued to drop but made it to the hospital ok though.
So as you can see I should of stayed home. But all in all I dont mind those kind of calls though. Gets my adrenaline pumping. Makes it for an interesting shift though. Other than that the week has been ok. Hey the 4th is Monday. Dont know if I work yet or not.

There was a guy driving around in one exactly like that one. Said Mystery van with the green & blue. Looked really cool. I love Scooby Doo.
