Yes it is Friday yet again. And weather here has been weird to say the least. It was hot as all hell here about a week ago. Now weather is nice in the low 70's and at night it drops down to the mid 50's. Wow, yeah who the hell talks about the weather.
Anywho, last night was my 2nd night back to work. It was actually pretty good. Nothing too exciting & they've let me get some shut eye. Awww, how nice of them. So a co-worker of mine had to go pick up a patient who got get this... stabbed in the eye with a knife. You hear this & think ouch talk about painful right. Well as it turns out it actually was a 1 year old baby toddler. Guess somebody was playing with a knife & threw it at the baby. Fucking assholes!!
How can you possibly do that to your own child?
Boy am I glad I wasn't the one who got the call. I would have not let the mom ride along with us. And if she did she would have not sat in the back with me. I dont understand how some people can have such fucked up lives. Whether it be drug addicts or really fucked up in the head. And still have no problem having kids. If that was me I would have enough sense to get my damn tubes tied. Why bring a kid in this world, when they'll have a good chance to be the next Jeffrey Dahmer??
Just had to say that. Onto other things. I got a letter to go take my physical for the City Fire Department. Yay, for me. I have to go take the physical on the 29th of July. But there is one little problem. They need an original of my birth certificate. So you say no problem, right? Well I was born in Mexico. Soo I dont actually have one. I am a resident though. So I shall be taking a road trip most likely in a month to California baby!!
Then cross over the border. Maybe make a quick stop to Vegas. Although this is a bit of a pain it might turn out to be a lot of fun. I do they at least one partner in crime.

Will you be able to easily get your birth certificate in Mexico , or is the recordkeeping outdated down there ?
I lost my birth certificate and social security card a few years ago to a house fire , I sure that even in Connecticut I will have a hard time getting replacements
