So we went to the Warriors game last Friday. One of my customers had box seats and couldn't go so he offered them to me. I had never been to a Warriors game before so it was pretty cool. Our box was right behind the media row which was a learning experience. People in the Media don't do anything. All the guys did was sit with their laptops using twitter, facebook and craigslist. People brought them pages with the stats from the game every quarter and other pages with the scores from around the league. All the paper just piled up while they continued looking for crap to buy on craigslist. Not one print out was looked at and not one minute of the game was watched. I bet they all wrote a story about the game afterwards though lol. I don't know what they get paid but it's too much. At the same token, If someone offered me that job, I'd take it in a heartbeat. I'd probably watch the game though lol.
We were up in Napa recently to pick up some of our wine. It was almost nightfall when we were leaving Rubicon. We took a picture in front of the Chateau.
If anyone needs a good laugh, if you haven't seen Whip It yet, it came out on DVD last week. Go rent it, it's a great movie. Well in my opinion anyway. Not sure if that counts for much.
