The rest of Summer was great and Fall is off to a good start. In July, we went to see William Fitzsimmons at the Independant and he put on a great show. Jenny Owens Young opened for him and she was good as well. While it was definately more mellow music, it was still surprising how quiet and respectful to the artists the crowd was.







In August we went to a wedding. It was one of my wifes friends from High School. He was getting married up in Graegel. It was in the country with not much around but actually make for a nice weekend get away.

On August 15th, I went to my first live MMA event as Strikeforce was in town at the HP pavillion for the Gina Carano vs Cris Cybrog Fight. It was an awsome experience. We had floor level seats just a few rows from the cage. We got to meet a bunch of the fighters that were in attendance like Royce Gracie, Urijah Faber and a few others. It was a great experience and definately worth the money.



We also found out that after a couple years of trying, we will be having a baby. The due date will be April 27th. We are very excited and have been enjoying the experience so far.

I started to learn how to play the electric guitar in September. I had been wanting to learn for a long time so I finally decided to start. A friend has been giving me weekly lessons and I have been enjoying it a lot so far.



Earlier this month, we went to see Ingrid Michaelson at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. She is a great artist and is so incredibly funny. I just always appreciate singers that interact with their audience, have stories and just have fun with everything.



This weekend we went to see the movie Whip It with Ellen Page, Drew Barrymore and so many others. It was such a funny movie. Great cast, well writen and just a really fun story. Well worth the money.
