thank you to everyone who commented on my last blog. I think I just needed a little bit of a self-esteem booster...I've been feeling pretty shitty in that area lately.
I need a HUGE physical change. You know when you get in those moods, where you need new make-up/wardrobe/hair/whatever? Yeah. I'm eager. but I'm broke as hell. Not cool.
I'm in one of those makeover moods right now too. Thankfully, I'm in a bit of a better position to pull it off than you seem to be. I just tend to get bored with life and go "okay, time to change something!" Usually my hair is the target because it's the easiest thing to change at a moment's notice.
As for talking to the boy...god, no help there. I had a crush on this guy who was a customer at my video store and he worked at the restaurant right next door to us and hung out at the same bar me and roomie would go to. I even think he liked me too but I was just a blabbling idiot around him if I could make myself speak at all! Just pick something mutual and ramble, that's what I did. It's usually easier for me to talk to people who are out of reach, because then I just try to befriend them. I still have a crush on that guy though, but it got less intense when I changed jobs to something farther away.

it's cool when you can crush on someone. I fell hard for a girl I met at a conference a few weeks back. felt like I was 16 again. it was good to know I could still feel that strongly (and quickly, it was drug-like) so yeah, I can relate. it had been awhile. fortunately (or unfortunately, I'm not sure) this girl lives on another continent.
