I had a job interview yesterday - a co-op position doing web stuff. Turns out I'm not really qualified (Cold Fusion, SQL... I know no database stuff), but I really pushed my ability to learn, so maybe...

Anyway, I killed time before the interview loitering around a cafe. A woman and her 5ish year old son were there. She ordered him a double chocolate muffin and a big hot chocolate. Half way through his 'meal', the kid says he's full.. and the mother tries to make him finish. "Common honey, one more bite. We don't want to waste. Ok, you can finish when we get home"

Then, I see another mom practically force feeding her baby a giant cookie.

You want to know why so many kids are so obese? I don't blame TV, or the net, or even fast/junk food, at least not directly.

I blame all you parents who are forcing your children to develop bad eating habits, to think of this shitty food as a meal. Stupis parents, it's like sentencing your kid to bad health for life...
