If you remember my last post, you saw I'm moving in March! It'll be my first time living all alone, and while living with out people will be awesome, an animal companion would be nice.... 
I thought about a guinnea pig, (I love those lil guys...) but ultimately decided on a

I even went by the pet supply store yesterday to see about the cost of buying food and kitty litter. It seemed to be about $20-30 CAN per month (correct me if I'm wrong!) which is pretty reasonable.
Then, by some uncanny luck, a friend of mine tells me her friend is moving to Europe, and feels it best she not take her two kitties with her, and is looking for someone to adopt them.
I'm going over there tomorrow to meet them.. apparently they're very friendly, have never striked against the litter box, and are healthy and fixed and happy... which sounds awesome.
I'm slightly concerned about that doubling my kitty cost, but I DID include a decent amoutn for BEER into my budget, and I have no problem cutting into that for the sake of kitties, hehe.
