My immune system of steel, she has failed me. I'm sick++. 
Just a cold, I guess, but that doesn't mean I don't get to complain. 
I bought some fancy throat lozenges which freakin cost their weight in gold. Oh what I do to avoid animal products, chemicals and sugar, haha. Do they work? Probably not. I just wish the placebo effect was cheaper. 
This weekend was good! I went to a big all night vegan dinner party on Saturday - I made jello shooters (with agar) which seemed to be a hit even with the non-vegans. Too bad, I wanted it all for me. Also, split pea stew. Yum yum.
Sunday I went to my father's place for dinner. I was a little afraid it would be awkward, seeing and he and I barely even speak these last few years, but it was nice.
There's a few little events I was planning on going to this week... but I have a feeling I will SUCK and stay home. Wallowing in self pity over my stuffy nose.

i know it's a bit of a drive, but your recipes always inspire dreadful hunger pains, and well... you know i adore you as well.
