My favorite phrase in a different language and why
@missy @rambo
Surprisingly this homework was actually very simple for me and stems all the way back to when I was very little.
My grandmother whom I am very close with used yo take care of me alot when I was young, and she loved to sing to me. One of the songs I remember her singing that still stays with me to this day is an old Dorris Day song called "whatever will be will be"
Here is the link if you would like to hear it
Dorris Day's "whatever will be will be"
So there is a quote in the song "que sera sera" which when translated is "whatever will be, will be" they say it's not clear as to the true origin but that it is closest to Spanish, and also has Italian origin as well. But that quote has stayed with me my entire life and to this day that song makes me tear up and think of my wonderful grandmother (she is still alive If your wondering, just across the country from me and I miss her dearly)
I have a goal to put the quotes of that beautiful song tattooed on me somewhere as not to forget their meaning or my grandma (not that I think I EVER could)
"QUE SERA SERA"
"WHATEVER WILL BE, WILL BE"
