Finally getting settled at home in Austin. After moving again within the first month after I got here, I think the dust is finally calming down. Living downtown is the shit. Been walking a hell of a lot and exploring my new surroundings. So many cool little shops, restaurants and bars. Gotta take some pics soon and put em up. Working at a trendy Austin spot has been pretty cool too. Never thought I'd work in a place that is blasting Tool in the background. I can wear whatever I want and don't have to cover up my tats. I am definitely trying not to get stuck waiting tables again though. Its time to settle down and get that 9 to 5. Waiting was just a temporary solution anyways from moving back here from Cali. I have also come to a realization to really just let her go for now. Not to predict what the future may bring but for now I just gotta let it go. It was so hard initially. I guess being with someone for six years it was just a little hard to function on a total solo vibe. But I can't worry every day what she's up to and who she's with. I gotta concede the fact that I'm not the person she is thinking about when she goes to bed and when she wakes up. Those days are gone I guess. Trying to venture out and make new friends. Hung out with this really cool co-worker the other night. Fucking brilliant artist whose entire apt. is her portfolio. Kinda refreshing just to hang out, have some drinks, listen to some cool music and enjoy some interesting conversation. She also was in a band and after a few glasses of wine she picked her bass and was jamming like a mofo. It was just so fun chilling that I didn't realize the sun started creeping up on us. So I left her place after 7 and got stuck in the am rush hour.Lol Finally put some profile pics up so I could offer up a face to the name. That's about it for now I guess.
