SG is a rollercoaster ride-and-a-half for me...so I've made a vow to keep things positive in my journal, at least for stuff that isn't too serious. On that note, rather than whine about something I had on my mind, I'm gonna do something about it. I would like to welcome anyone who is reading my journal and isn't on my friends list to Add Me, I automatically accept all requests from now on. I signed on this site to become part of a community and I'm gonna do my part to help! I want to lower all the barriers that newbie SG members have to get assimilated into the community...being a newbie myself, I've had the great fortune of acquiring the friendship of quite a few people including several exceptional ones I'm quite fond of...you know who you are. But the entire process has been painful at best so thus I'm extending my hand to everyone
I'm so amped for the SG Burlesque show in LA this Friday! I'm gonna try to bring my dig camera and see if I can get some pics and post em. Also, my man BT is coming to LA twice next month and same thing...I'm gonna try to get some pics of both shows if my camera proves to work at the SG:B.
Also, a journal note, to keep my journal shorter, I've archived all my past picks below.
And back to that nasty business regarding the Garbage Fans group, I archived that message in there too, in case you didn't get a chance to read it. I'll leave that message there for about a couple more weeks. Feel free to hit my Contact button if you want the inside info on that ordeal, if you are/were in that group.
Speaking of groups, I promise to make one more stab at starting a Manga group some time next week. I want to be very cautious in light of the fact that I've already failed twice to make that group. I'm gonna do some research and pull some other strings as well...we will see!
Manga Thread is past 25 peeps, lookin good! Thanks to Lisette and my other pals for pum-pum-pum-pumping it up!
