Basically there's one person who seems to be consistently looking at my blogs, one super-exciting someone ;), and so now I'm in to making blog posts.
This is the Redondo Beach Pier, my first visit in years...it burned down back in the 90s and a lot of what I remember as a kid has changed. But it looks terrific. And I love water fowl.

Unretouched. If you play with levels the bird's eye disappears. Ashy lips...
Sign made the shot ugly but made my heart warm. GKG
This guy's body was the size of a football. That post it's standing on is like six inches across.
I remember reading about Greek Stoicism back in junior high.
Sittin' at the dock of the bay wastin' time. *whistles*

Unretouched as well. Click as well.
They have a kite store at the beach and these are in front of it...how cool is that?

I feel like in my memories, that glass window on the right used to be a staircase that went down into an underwater arcade or something.
This is a common sight in Cali bays...buoys covered with lazy fuck sea lions.
Other side of the pier.
Must be the mama sea lion...very shiny coat.
Typical sight here...beach-side apartments, ramps for bikes and wheelchairs, bike lanes and a random lounging sea gull.
The pier is open but the beach is closed.
