By popular demand (by some insanely hot women here on SG), heres a loot-based journal with pics from the SD trip! Next journal, hopefully coming later this weekend, will have pics from Otakon 2010, yay!
Ok, lets just jump right in:
Intro
I spent a ton of money at SDCC. It will happen when you havent visited in years. More than half was spent (gleefullyyes, I said glee) on presents for my GGS. I was able to find every single indie artist that I was looking for with the exception of Andi Watson, who I didnt think would be there. But there were several pleasant surprises to make up for it. By the way, I think its hot that several of you girls are making friends with each other toojust way cool! Now if yall would just start calling yourself GGS membershehe.
Heavy Metal booth
This wasnt the first or last booth I visited, but I wound up spending the most money there. I got ripped off so I was pissed (all books were marked as half off but the asshole at the register charged me fullI was too tired to notice) but the books I got were nice and I got to meet Lorenzo Sperlonga, whose cover art has been selling HM magazine.
Favorite Creator-Owned
With all of these creators, the most important thing I look for is consistency in art. All of these creators have that going with no editors to look over their shoulders.
Various Other Books
Various Other Goodies
Dave Stevens book
All in all, I hurt myself pretty good with the carrying of all this loot and this is only half of it as much of it has already been given away or divvyed up into my various GGS piles. One of the best things about having a booth at a con is that you can use it as a home base to drop off all your goodies.

PS - You can see all of the images full size here. I'm still trying to figure out how people can put in full size images that show up with the magnifying glass thingie.
Mizuno, Zombie Tramp, and my melody, ftw!
