The American Liberal/Conservative label schism (part 2)
So, as there is this confusion of what is what in terms of economic policy (and thus clouding what politics are to be used to achieve these ends), it becomes murkier and murkier as to what we the American public are doing and who and what we are voting for. And make no mistake, this opacity and ambiguity is deliberately perpetuated by the politicians of both parties who not only care only about getting elected, it also makes it difficult for the public to gauge the effectiveness or lack there of of the elected officials. Why is this so prevalent? Because the average voter is so ignorant of basic economics and is relatively inept in politics as well. Now this is true for most people on the planet but in our country, the US, the richest nation in the history of the world and richer than the next several countries put together, the average voting citizen not being able to receive a proper education in these subjects is a tragic human waste.
Keep in mind that not only are we the biggest economy, our country is also a democratic republic. That means the voters decide in who gets to plan and execute policies on almost every level (except the judiciary branch). Not since the Greeks has the average citizen wielded so much power and responsibility. And imagine it is these ignorant people, us, making these decisions. No wonder things can get so bad in the world. The politicians all know this, at least the competent ones because as a politician, you have to play that game, play the public, to get elected. And that's why you regularly see the new "in" thing of our generation, the new message, which is "Get out and vote" remixed 50 different times. This message is actually really old, as old as democracy itself. Next you see MTV telling you to "Rock The Vote," or whatever, don't be fooled. They know their demographic is overwhelmingly Democrat. So their seemingly magnanimous, feel-good message that sounds like everyone should go vote, it actually means everyone "go vote for the Democrat. " You can bet the majority of those messages are being paid for by members of that party. Just as when you go to church (that probably doesn't refer to us SGers though, lol) you know that pastor telling everyone to go vote, they know the pastor didn't mean Obama. Just like in the movies Far And Away and Gangs Of New York where the various ethnic groups basically go vote for the Irish candidate or the native, pro-slavery candidate respectively.
Let me tell you a pure democracy does not work. (In fact a pure "anything" does not work that I've seen so far, which is why to this day, after many millennia of civilization, we are still having new governments come up all of the time. Simple fact is most of these poli-economic philosophies from facism to communism to democracy ignore human nature. ) The reason being is that the general populace are unfit for making top decisions. That's not a knock on them, it's just a logistical thing. The public is unfit for making military decisions because, as Sun Tzu states as a criteria for a successful general, they lack foreknowledge. Only commanders who actively gather information in the field can do so. The public is unfit for making financial decisions and that is why we put our small amounts of money in the bank while the bank owners reap huge amounts from them. The public is inept at politics too because most people simply have never been trained or have had the experience of being put in charge of anything and asked to generate results politically. All of this ignorance and ineptness can be traced back to our schools, the public ones. We do have plenty of individuals who are "bred" to lead and make decisions, more than any other society. But these individuals are a very tiny minority of the poplulation. You know them because they graduate from the very top schools and often come from old money. And all of these schools have the same things in common, they are private and very expensive to attend.
Our public school system is atrocious because it is a liberal institution and with nearly all (not all, but nearly) liberal institutions, it is pre-destined to fail. In order to learn something, you either need to learn through trial-by-fire on the job, otherwise known as learning "the hard way," or you need to be taught and mentored by someone who has had success in what you are trying to learn. It's only common sense. And that's why companies and corporations in the private sector, where you either make profit or go out of business, pay little attention to what degrees you have and pay much more attention to what experience you've had, including how long and where you had it. At one time, public schooling was a revelation and a great boon to American society but it has outlived it's usefulness as the current system does not attract "winners" and other competent folks to it. Our young kids are not taught by captains of industry nor are their school affairs like curriculums and budgets planned by top talented individuals of our society. This is just another example of overly-liberal policy that at one time may have worked but has for a long time been obsolete. And as with any huge exercise of government power, it is now incredibly difficult to remove the established structure without causing tumultuous chaos in the lives of normal people. But the fate of the world is in the hands of the American public and we may just need rip this structure out for the future of Americans and the rest of the world because it keeps producing ignorant and un-worldly voters.
...to be continued in part 3 cuz this shit is getting way too long!

Whew, that was a mouthful!
So, what have I been up to...
Well, last time I posted, I had decided to abandon my SG hermit status and start posting again, all due to the urging of a certain individual...a girl I held as precious. But, that imploded in semi-spectacular fashion and it made me not want to be on SG for a long time. In its and her place, WoW took over. But recently I've become very lonely again, really wishing for a special someone and I decided to kick that game out the door as it had begun to monopolize all of my time while making me even lonelier.
I'm back this time to do more socializing although I don't really plan on being the blogger again that I was before. I plan on being on SG for the following reasons:
1) To kickstart my erotic short-story writing again!
2) To keep in touch with certain friends that I only chat with on SG
3) To keep my time occupied chatting with people instead of gaming
4) Possibly find that special someone as SG seems to have the right people, the properly twisted girls that I adore
While doing that, I'm also putting both feet in to my new business, which is based on starting various websites and generating traffic to them. I've spent about $500 the last two weeks doing this and that will probably grow. It's a cheap business to start and my friend Jay Allan and I have a formula and some great ideas already. Should be cool! Hopefully I'll be able to quit my job in the near future (I must be the only one trying to quit while everyone else is trying to find and keep a job.) and do it full time, and thus free up the time finally to do so many of the things I really want to do to enrich my life!
As for the first item, the writing, I plan on not only posting on SG, in the appropriate group Filthy, Smutty Storytime or whatever it's called, I'm also planning to post them on my Literotica account too. Warning though, if you decide to read any of my stuff for laughs, I deliberately try to tackle topics and situtations that are too taboo, disturbing or fiery for the most hardcore commercial DVD to handle.

No lie. I am here and I am blessed...it's absolutely wonderful.
