International Women’s Day has come and gone but every day is International Women’s Day on Suicidegirls.com. There are two amazing Hopefuls across the pond that have given us 20 amazing ‘sets’, a multi-set together between them and years of incredible content and insight. The one thing we can glean from @_kettle & @sirenn’s incredible contributions to SG is that they bleed pink in every way. They are not asking us to support their patreon or cams (im not saying those things are bad). They are giving back nothing but love to SG 24/7/365 and their content is priceless.
Since both of their debut ‘sets’ they have averaged 2243 likes on 20 sets, that alone is pretty amazing. They have 15,541 followers between them, which is more than a lot of the veteran SGs. These metrics alone say Pink unless I am confused as many members are on what it means to be Pink. I don’t want to point out the very recent 1 or 2 set FP wonders with under 2000 likes, that’s player hating. However, things like that hurt the morale of Hopefuls, SGs and members alike.
Setting aside the obviously, extremely (I stress extremely) fluid metrics on what (or who) determines which Hopeful becomes a SuicideGirl. I would have to say that these two amazing, and I mean amazing women deserve to be celebrated. They represent a precious segment of women, and are a positive inspiration to women and men.
How do we fix this? How do we rally for @sirenn & @_kettle? Is it possible to maybe take another look, I think their multi-set LAVENDER is a good place to start and a perfect opportunity to make things right.
