So I'm playing with the new SG site design. Some stuff is better now, however certain things are still just as bad. Personally I think the overall problem is the site is too dumbed down, its simplistic to use, but so simplistic it loses functionality.
The dating form thing is an interesting concept, though this site seems to be moving more in a direction of a dating site in certain aspects. Oh well, who am I anyways
I fly back home tomorrow, I managed to not do any of the major things I wanted to do while here. Oh well. Next time, right?
The DDR pad arrived, buttt, since I'm not in the country its just sitting waiting for me. Damn.
So what is everyone up to for halloween?

I have attached some sample pics on this email. These pictures are examples of what i have in mind, but i am leaving it in your hands to use your own skills and abilities. Each of you needs a game plan heading into this, you *should know where your starting and ending point is going to be. For example i plan to start at a bar called the Rock House, where a band i know is playing, walk down a conservation path that is just below Main Street then walk back up Main Street. Take natural/candid shots capturing things in their element, whether being people or environment. If you happen to be drinking a beer, take a picture of the beer your drinking. Capture the environment and key in on the details.
Say if you are in a city and you take pictures at one place, you may want to hoop on a street car. Take pictures of the Street Car or bus coming towards you, as you are stepping onto the bus, riding in the bus, people on the bus, getting off the bus....I was looking at some Andy Warhol candid pictures last night, he definetly had a different way at looking at the world and keying in on the details. I recommend you look at something like a Warhol photoset, but remeber this will be your photo set not some rip off...
I think that using black and white film would be a good way of creating unity when bringing all of these pictures together. All though i could alter the pictures in photoshop to black and white and make minor changes, i'm not sure if i want to tamper with your work and just leave it in your hands. Using the effect of black and white and then leaving something ie. that girl with the red dress from Shindler's list.
I feel like I'm starting to ramble. OK, each one of you let me know your intended locations for your photoset. Give me some feedback if you think using black and white film would be more effective.
**** ohhh yes we are going to have to "synchronise our watches" to get the timeline right****I will find a site on the internet that we will base our time on and we I will email you in the next couple of days so that we synchronise.
-J get back to me soon and let me know if your down, if you can give me an email address i can be in more contact with you as that seems to be a difficult thing to do O.G.E.
