What did I learn last week?
That I can still write blog entries, but I'm rusty at it.
What was my greatest accomplishment over the past week?
Keeping my head at work. Losing M has put a lot of extra pressure on all of us. Also, creating the party video. It wasn't a lot of work, but I'm very proud of it anyway.
Which moment from last week was the most memorable and why?
Sharing the party video. Sad, eh? Visiting with Mav, Tony, and Liz was also a little memorable, but not incredibly note worthy.
Whats the #1 thing I need to accomplish this week?
Get the CPAP machine and dropping off my mortgage pre-approval application.
What can I do right now to make the week less stressful?
Start up a process with Canada Post to track down the lost package.
What have I struggled with in the past that might also affect the upcoming week?
Apathy and an aversion to awkward tasks.
What was last weeks biggest time sink?
Video games that I've already played through. Dragon Age isn't nearly as replayable as I'd like and I think I finished pretty much all of Fallout New Vegas.
Am I carrying any excess baggage into the week that can be dropped?
I wish it were that easy to drop baggage.
What have I been avoiding that needs to get done?
Dealing with Canada Post about the lost package. I know it's going to be a painfully long process that will most likely result in nothing. I need to talk to Cheryl about this. Shit, she won't be in to work until late tomorrow.
What opportunities are still on the table?
Going to San Francisco with the company. I'm still doubtful. I'd love to take the bike down there but I'm not sure I could. I'm not sure I'd have enough time, or if I took enough time I fear I'd be leaving co-workers covering me for too long.
Is there anyone Ive been meaning to talk to?
Tanya, I haven't talked to her in far too long. It's so hard to connect across the different time zones for some reason. That and I'm always worried I'm going to be calling at an inopportune time.
Is there anyone that deserves a big Thank You?
Elizabeth, for getting me out of the house, and Dianne, for being there when I called.
How can I help someone else this coming week?
Heh, get Canada Post to find that damned package. Also get some progress on making more kits and bundles *before* we sell out of them.
What are my top 3 goals for the next 3 years?
Condo, travel, and perhaps a better paying job? Just being realistic. I love my job but I'm cutting it pretty thin here.
Have any of my recent actions moved me closer to my goals?
Finished my mortgage application. Set an appointment to get my new passport photos.
Whats the next step for each goal?
Finding out how much I can afford, getting my passport photo on Saturday, and maybe browsing the job pages.
What am I looking forward to during the upcoming week?
Possibly sleeping well for the first time in my life.
What are my fears?
That I won't qualify for any kind of mortgage at all, and that the CPAP machine won't help at all.
What am I most grateful for?
Living in a first world country where a man like me in a menial job can still afford to support himself on his own. Also, two legs that still work well.
If I knew I only had one week to live, who would I spend my time with?
My bike, somewhere warm.
