Hey, disengage your brain from this point as this post is about nothing, I just have a few spare moments and thought that i needed an update so here it is.
I should post more about what I get up to in my life but I tend to live it rather than write it. So what's been happening since my last post? Well, Lots of parties and what not, Most of my uni friends have now left so there were lots of leaving parties and the like. It's sad to see so many people leave. It's a strange situation for me because I am not a student however I have always had links to the local university and so I get to meet many students who become my close friends. But of course after 3 years or so they graduate. Some stay in Chichester some move on, and then you realise exactly how short 3 years is. Especially if it's a large group of people. The whole social scene changes, but always from the ashes new people appear and people who I know but not know as well will grow closer and so the cycle continues. Actually there are a few people I want to get to know better. Friends of friends or just people who I always seen about and never really had the time to get to know them.
Speaking of friends and parties, I might as well tell you what I got up to over the bank holiday weekend. Friday I had the day off and I helped Miffy move house and then to JoJo's birthday meal. bee then joined us for JoJo's Birthday gig and Ilz's leaving do. Saturday we went to see Iron Man with Miffy, (special thanks to alana for getting us in for free) and then we went to a great party on saturday night. It was a 'P' themed fancy dress party at Kayleigh, Rowan, and Siobhan's house. There were Pirates, Postmen, Pixies, Punks, Parcels, Palm Tree's and the like. I went as a Professor and Bee went as a "Sexy" Pirate. Everyone had a good time. Pete and Emily were there and it was really nice to talk without anyone else getting in the way and starting rumors. The next day Rowan made his debut on "Shipwrecked 2008: Battle of the Islands", so Bee and I went back theirs in the morning to watch him on TV. He thought he came across as a bit of an idiot, but everyone else thought he came across really well. Rowan's shipwrecked friend Vicky (who had come down to for the party) was on Tiger Island, and because Rowan and the other new arrival chose Tiger Island to join, she was on the Island who had to choose which of the new arrivals would stay and which would go home. When they didn't choose Rowan you could see how upset she was on the episode, but she said they didn't show her arguing against the decision. It was nice to see her sticking up for him. Then at the end of the episode Rowan thought he was going home, only to realise he was going to the secret third island. The half-hour of Shipwrecked - the third island was excellent TV. He was so excited and confused when arrived at the Hawk Island that when the islanders explained the harsh conditions he came out with 'You make fire with wood?!' which he will probably never live down. Anyway he did very well and im looking forward to how see how he comes across for the rest of the show.
The rest of the Bank Holiday weekend was spent drinking and watching Indiana Jones movies (in preparation for the new film) on the Monday night Alana, Mel and Danny popped over for more movies, fun and Rum. Bee had bought glow sticks and we ended up watching Human Traffic and dancing around drunkenly in the dark. (maybe that was just me)
I have also rediscovered the love for Nachos with cheese "Nacho, Nacho Man! I want to be a Nacho man!" but at the same time discovered the difficaulty of playing GTA with one hand.
