Jesus, I'm such a dweeb!
I've spent the majority of today working on the assignment that's due next week. As an incentive, I promised myself that if I worked until I reached a certain goal, I'd stop for a while and I could do whatever I wanted.
I reached that goal about two and a half hours ago and settled in to enjoy my free-time. Bear in mind I'm a single guy living alone with a broadband internet connection and a massive stockpile of movies, TV shows and porn.
So what did I do?
First I set up a second Twitter account, then I added a Firefox extension to let me post to it, spent nearly an hour figuring out how to change the menu bar icon for the new addon, read an article about using Firefox as a surrogate desktop, found an addon that lets me use my desktop wallpaper as a background in Firefox and, lastly, found and configured another addon that lets me start Firefox in full-screen mode and customise the hide/show rules for all its toolbars. I've been a busy little beaver!
The end result of all this is that when I start Firefox now, aside from seeing the menu bar appear at the top of the screen, there's no appreciable change from my normal desktop...until I load a page that is.
And I wonder why I'm single!

Windows will not boot.
Gah.
P.S. You're still the finest example of single, geek-boi I know.
