Of living alone and serious blogging
So. I've been home a bit more than usual over the last two or three days. Currently 'home' is house-sitting for a friend, so 'being home' means being alone (unless you count the two cats that live here too).
In this time I've noticed myself doing quite a bit of blogging (in one form or another) either on Twitter, Wordpress, Facebook or here. I haven't posted everything (I've posted a lot) but the thoughts of posting are there, and I seem to be constantly composing blog entries in my head.
I've decided I'm going to get serious about blogging. It naturally combines my passions and my skills into something that I really enjoy. So it makes sense that I should take it seriously.
I'll be posting links to the various blogs I'm running here, for some of my favourite people to read. Some you might like and continue to read, others will not interest you in the least. That's cool. I also don't expect anyone to sign up to any service to leave comments. If you find you have a burning desire to say something about my posts, feel free to do it here, I imagine I'll be keeping the content pretty well organised in my head, so chances are I'll know what you're talking about.
I'm starting to read blogs more seriously too, partly for entertainment, but also as research. Popular blogs are easy to find on places like Blogspot and Wordpress, and they're popular for a reason. They're doing something right. If anyone follows any good blogs, or knows of good blogging resources, please, share them here. I'll be grateful for any direction.
That's all for now I think. I'm off to see if SG has a blogging group.

Did you find an SG blogging group at all?
I only religiously follow Neil Gaiman's blog these days, but Eddie Campbell blogged daily for a good year there and pretty much every post was thought provoking and insightful.
