AAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand so it looks like a quiet weekend is in order. Had a few requests for my appearance (which is pretty rare over here) but frankly sitting in bed playing Fallout 1, eating cookies and putting in less than no effort appeals all the more. I've told some people to give me a shout if the venue is any good, or would appeal to me (and by that, I mean no 'doof doof' music and vacuous spastics lining every wall), but all the same I very much doubt I can be dragged from my bed.

In the mean time though, been having great times with a few things. First off Animals Being Dicks.com is possibly everything I'm about. I don't have any pets, but if I did I'd want them devious as these crazy bastards. Another one that I've been loving is the "Hipster edits" meme page. Because it always struck me that these pseudo-poetic images were RIPE for parody, or at the very least sharp derision. Some of these are just the cherriest. What is it? Put simply, it's those random shady pictures that hipsters put on their Facebook, which always have a one sentence attempt at being 'emotional' on them. A picture of a murky forest with the sentence "I'm lost and I don't know the way out" or some shit like that. But some of them are painfully poor quality, and Hipster edits simply adds a sentence which ties the phrase to the picture. Example in the spoiler :

Honestly, some of these have had me crying laughing. So good.

Only other thing of note this day, is THE most awesome mash up ever. I find a new mash up every month or so, and consider it instantly the newest best thing, but this one REALLY IS. For those not in the know, a mash up is taking two songs and either putting the lyrics from one on the music of another, or generally mixing and matching to make a whole new song. There are some real beauties out there, like White Stripes vs Prodigy, or Beastie Boys vs Ratatat, but this is the king. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you, Marvin Gaye vs The Pixies :
