That is how long we partied in South Korea last night. I haven't been to many places where I can compare it to, but if any of you have ever been to Austin or Mardi Gras it is something similar. (6pm - 8pm)We started out light celebrating St. Patricks Day with free food! (pizza and fried chicken) Fried chicken is apparently becoming very common in South Korea so whenever there is a party at the college there is guaranteed to be pizza and fried chicken no matter what the holiday! (8pm-11pm) After a few hours there we started the adult party at MG (Modern Gypsy) Bar. We consumed a very large of amount of beer and tequila shots there and played a card called "Fuck the Dealer" one aspect of the game is you can make rules that people have to follow. A few of the rules we came up with:
1. If you touch the table with your hands you have to drink
2. If you pulled a 5 you had to stand up and yell "I'm the slut of the table!"
3. If you pulled a 8 everyone had to yell "We are going to get fucked up tonight!" that last one to say it had to drink
4. If you pulled a 10 you had to dance around a pool table
5. if you pulled a 6 you had to dry numb one of the pool table corners for 5sec
6. if you pulled a 7 you had to walk over to a table of females and say "I'm a bitch"
7. if you pulled a A you had to walk over to a table of females, blow them a kiss, and say "I Love you all!"
Unfortunately there was only one table of females and they quickly grew tired of our shenanigans! We played cards, drank, and danced. (11pm -12am) We left MG bar with about 8 people and took two taxis downtown where we ended in this tiny ass bar where we each had a drink called "adios motherfucker" which had tequila, vodka, and rum mixed up, we also ate some cheeseballs that the bartender gave us.... (12am-1am) We headed to a bar called Thursday Party and met up with some other fellow students and drank a couple beers before we headed to The Frog. (1am-2:30am) The Frog is a dance club that plays mostly House music and Hip Hop, it is always packed and the DJ always keeps the party going! Before coming to Korea I had never been to a club like this before and was never into dancing but this place has placed a bug in me that I hope to take back with me to the states. (2:30am-4am) Headed back to Thursday Bar for some more green beer and crazy convo's with people from all over the world. Of course there were koreans, but also I met a Canadian, a US Serviceman, for some reason a gang of french guys, and some chick from europe somewhere... (4am-5am) Back to The Frog for one last dance session where these two guys who had to be high as fuck on something took over the dance floor doing some kind of improv mix of vogueing and a chicken dying. We got back to our dorm a little before 6am due to us missing a guy and me holding everyone up because I didn't want leave without knowing where the fuck he was. He had left earlier without saying anything.
I head hit the pillow at 6:16am and a friend came screaming in my room at 7:25am to wake up so we could go on a school trip to Gyeongju Mountain that would last 13hrs :( Needless to say it was a rough day but totally worth it because Gyeongu was really captivating and I was able to see many cool things. Maybe I'll blog about it here....
