The bummers just keep coming...we made the decision to put our 13 year old, Boots, down. He had been sick for about 4 weeks. We suspected a seizure or stroke because he was just a shell of a cat. No personality, knowledge of our presence or anything to show that he was there. Just an empty kitty. He ate pretty good for a while but didn't have any bathroom type functions to speak of.
Eventually he stopped eating with the vigor that he once had. It was then that we decided to put him down. Kinda' a relief for all of us and a sad day. We talked about it the night before in bed. Once we made the decision we gathered him up, talked to him, pet him and consoled him and ourselves together in the bed. We got up early and did the deed!
We miss him. The other kitties are starting to realize that he won't be back now. He brought us many great memories and we thank him for that!

Thanks for the love on my new set
