I'm sure I've mentioned this before but I get really irritated with commercials around Christmas and Valentines day. I realize the women and jewelry go hand in hand but these commercials they play on radio and TV make women out to be completely shallow and superficial beings. "Get your woman this because you love her", "She know you love her if you get this 25k ring"...mean while you're broken, sticky and confused the next week when she forgets about it. I'm patiently waiting to see what they can plug for women to get men...sorry tools doesn't cover all of us.

Advertising this way just pisses me off! Worse is that I know couples that buy into it. Get your woman something nice when you can afford it and when you can BOTH appreciate it. Not because you think it'll maker her love you more. If that's you're case then you need to talk with your loved one! Just my opinion for the record.

On another note...I tried to run myself over with my own truck. Our driveway is steep and short. The truck was dead because the missus left a seat warmer plugged into the lighter. It drained the battery over several days. I went to pop the hood release and pulled the emergency brake, the shifter was out of gear when I last tried to start it. Down, down, down the hill the truck goes...with me trying to figure out what to do without killing myself or whom ever was driving down the road when the truck rolled into the street. Luckily nothing happened to me or the truck or anybody that was passing by. I did however leave a reminder in the side of the car door when the truck door hit and dented it. GRRR!!! The worst of it was the jumper cables were in the car at work!

Shit happens! Hope people understand what I'm saying about the jewelry advertising.
