In April I bought this lens:
A Sigma 24-70 2.8 and I really wanted to love the lens, but the focusing wasn't consistent enough. I sent it back to Sigma three times and it would never focus as well as my old Sigma, which cost half the price 
So, after a month of sending it back and forth to the service center, I returned it to Amazon for a refund.
I ended up buying a copy of the lens that I rented back in February, a Pentax 28-70 2.8.....and it's here now!!
I haven't done a shoot with it yet, but I've done some testing and everything looks great. What a relief!

After posting this, I was driving to the grocery store and on my way there, I witnessed a breaking and entering of an autobody shop. I called the police to report it and they caught the guy!
I just spoke with the arresting officer and the perp was recently released from State prison after serving time for burglary and armed robbery. Well, I guess he's going back!
