Today I woke up at 4:30 thinking I had to be at work at 5:30 only to realize that it is for NEXT MONDAY!!! Since I'm up, I figured I should update you on what's going on. People at the office are nervous about May 1 actions. Not due to the economic impact it might cause on the markets that day but the aftermath of the action. I have a feeling that a lot of people who are not represented by many groups will lose their jobs on May 2. Also, I think that this was not planned out as well as it could have been. The consequences of missing/walking out on work and school is starting to sink in. I am an immigrant myself, and I oppose this legislation but what kind of message are my brothers and sisters sending to the rest of America?
