After watching "How it Ends" I am disappointed to see there are no good volcano documentaries on Netflix :/ No, I don't want to watch Werner Herzog talk about his childhood amidst some incidental volcano anecdotes...I want to see simulations of what would happen if Yellowstone volcano erupted and I want to see graphic detail on the aftermath of Vesuvius.

Is it really so bad if I drink homemade unsweet tea more than I do plain water? There's enough water in tea, right, so it can't be THAT bad for my kidneys, right?

I still don't know what I'm cosplaying for Wizard World on the 25th and time is running out! 😭 There's a lot of cosplays I want to eventually do but not enough money or time to order them thanks to being out of work for a few months and getting back on my feet now 😢 I could be Mystique again but I want to upgrade her and Domino's costumes.

Anyone have advice on great booty exercises besides squats? I have been doing the stair machine at the gym, does that build glutes well? (I think because I have a slight spine deformity I couldn't do squats properly to target my glutes and they instead gave me massive quads, haha. My quads are muscular enough!)

Would it be creepy if I got a tattoo of @marlene some day? Her eyes are so haunting and I want some tattoos of beautiful women someday (and also Bettie Page)

My hands hurt from handling hundreds of pounds of 12-and 24-packs of soda a day. I'm actually super strong for my size but perhaps I should get some gloves for work, maybe that would help?

Have any of you ever taken supplements or vitamins and noticed actual results?

I only notice less joint pain with glucosamine but over the years have taken multi-vitamins, bee pollen, D with calcium, b12, C, L-arginine, L-glutamine, collagen, probiotics, etc and have never really noticed any kind of positive difference from any vitamins or supplements I've taken. I would think I have a vitamin deficiency due to having to take acid reducers every day for GERD but Idk any supplements someone can steer me into for better health and energy, youth and vitality?

These are just some of today's random thoughts. Sorry for so many annoying questions, I am thirsty for knowledge and instead of googling answers I want firsthand experiences from actual people.

Also, does anyone else miss how we used to be able to put pictures in blog comments? That was a thing once before the sited revamped right, or am I imagining that?

Xoxo

Dang, I miss a lot while not being around much! Plain water is plain water and is better for you than tea or anything that is water with additives. I do love tea and unsweet is one way to go to avoid sugars, but that plain water does make a difference since tea is a diuretic. Then again I do drink almost 100 ounces of water a day on top of tea and coffee thrown in there. I wish I could be at Wizard World. I'm already not ready for my own work at Horror Hound this coming weekend. My arm is so sore and, luckily, I don't have to do much physical labor, but it's still kind of rough doing much beyond sitting around and relaxing my shoulder/back to ease my pain. We'll see how that goes since I haven't left my house for anything beyond work (which sucks enough out of me as is in my current state). I can't help with booty exercises. I do way too many lunges and squats that I have some nice glutes and booty and going on for a dude. I'm pretty proud of my own booty, but I don't really know much beyond the fact it's what I do and I'm doing it more for my sport than for booty so.... my knowledge goes as far to say they're good for me and that's it. As for supplements, I can say that I took Sports Research Collagen (I'm picky on additives and crap in my supplements) did seem to help my sore joints pretty well after continually taking it for a while. It helped with my permanently injured knee and my multiple sprains. It has some other health benefits as well. I also took MCT oil which messes up my stomach for the first week (if I stop it, which I usually do), but I've noticed my digestive system seems top notch when I continually take a shot of that every AM. It didn't really give me any noticeable boost of energy, but I seemed to have a more efficient digestive system when taking it. I believe collage is also good for GERD? I can't remember. I did some research on those two things and took them about 75% of the time for about two years. Right now it's mostly different proteins (whey, pea, rice), creatine, BCAAs, and I like to have some other ones... forgetting right now offhand, for really busy derby summers to help with recovery and such. Other than that Fish Oil is great for my not great dry eyes (especially post-LASIK), Vitamic C helps with a lot of things, and a multi with high B's in it. I usually just go for Naked or Promix branded supplements because there are no preservatives, sugars, or any added garbage that I think messed up my stomach when I took 'em. I can't really do fake sugars without stomach upset and becoming really thirsty all the time. Big response, but I haven't talked to you in a while.... so... hope all else is well! ❤

I've also been suffering with something GERD like. I've been on those acid reducers for months, but the doctors keep saying my blood work is great. I know there is something off vitamin wise. I recently started taking a b complex. That has been making me feel better, but I too feel like there's something more missing. Have you heard of Dr. Wahl's? or watched her Ted talk? As far as the booty goes, do you ever do any kind of things on the floor? Like sets of pelvic thrusts etc? I do these side leg lifts as well as these sort of... butt crunches... all of those are low impact on the hips. Beyond that stretching out your quads will keep them leaner.
