I'm feeling very inspirational and incredibly positive today and everyday ever since, well, ever since my beloved Aluka came into my life and I into hers. In every way conceivable I truly do believe I have found whom I was meant to be with, we are such a perfect fit for one another
it's downright phenomenally beautiful, wondrous and delightfully uncanny in certain ways.
I could go on and on and on describing every bit about how truly marvelous and divine she is and how our relationship has been nothing short of all I have ever dreamed of and oh so much more, just when I thought I knew what a wonderful, complete and fulfilling relationship entailed, along comes Aluka!!
I'm truly speechless, unable to find the words, there simply is nothing I can say that would describe how I feel as perfectly as she deserves it.
I love her, I do, like I've never imagined or conceived love can be experienced, fully, deeply and wholeheartedly.
I love Aluka not only for all that she is, but for what I am when I am with her.
As I said, I could go on and on and on...
So, I posted the following today on Myspace as a bulletin post and wanted to share it here for all as well:
Never regret anything that made you smile.
Life is not a race.
Take it slower.
Hear the music before the song is over.
If you were going to die soon and had only one phone call you could make,
who would you call and what would you say? And why are you waiting?
When anyone calls my 'seize the moment' friend, she is open to adventure and available for trips. She keeps an open mind on new ideas. Her enthusiasm for life is contagious. You talk with her for five minutes, and you're ready to trade your bad feet for a pair of Rollerblades and skip an elevator for a bungee cord.
I got to thinking one day about all those people on the Titanic who passed up dessert at dinner that fateful night in an effort to cut back. From then on, I've tried to be a little more flexible.
Life has a way of accelerating as we get older. The days get shorter, and the list of promises to ourselves gets longer. One morning, we awaken, and all we have to show for our lives is a litany of "I'm going to," "I plan on," and "Someday, when things are settled down a bit."
Have you ever watched kids playing on a merry go round or listened to the rain lapping on the ground? Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight or gazed at the sun into the fading night? Do you run through each day on the fly? When you ask "How are you?" Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done, do you lie in your bed with the next hundred chores running through your head? Ever told your child, "We'll do it tomorrow." And in your haste, not see his sorrow? Ever lost touch? Let a good friendship die? Just call to say "Hi"?
When you worry and hurry through your day, it is like an unopened gift....Thrown away.... Life is not a race. Take it slower. Hear the music before the song is over.
"Life may not be the party we hoped for...
but while we are here we might as well dance!"
Life is short; break the rules, forgive quickly,
kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably,
and never regret anything that made you smile.
In light of this I present you an amazing and
emotion-evoking B-side tune
from one of my favorite bands, Garbage,
Enjoy! ^_^
