i'm a murderer.

i've killed my computer. and it's all very ironic, of course. it's been behaving very strangely lately - lots of error messages, 2 programs that just won't open, CD burner not working, etc. so just last night i enlisted the help of my friend michael, who is a computer genius, to help me fix it. (since my troubleshooting knowledge consists of re-booting). we made a plan to get together tomorrow to nurse it back to health. and my plan for today was to send in a bunch of pictures to get printed because all of my pics from the last couple years are only on my laptop. and of course, i'd be extremely upset if i lost them. not to mention my 1500ish mp3s and everything i've written for school for the last 6 years (you never know when one of those papers can be used for another class). anyway...so then i come home last night and i fucking spilled water on my computer. right on the keyboard - while it was turned on. (yes i was intoxicated - why do you ask? and yes, one of you out there warned me about having drinks near my computer - turns out it wasn't just your paranoia this time.) so now i'm screwed. it turns on, but doesn't do anything - just a black screen. not good. i have no idea if there's any hope for it.
