I need to make a copy of this Drip CD for you. It hasn't aged very well but it will definitely be interesting for you I don't think anyone else would hear the influence. I'm just super sensative about that kind of thing (i.e. I really hate hearing blatent rip offs especially knowing that most people are being fooled )

Wow, you know Andy by name! I'm impressed I had no idea I would be preaching to the converted.

Andy used to be the frontal section of one of my favorite bands about 6 years ago called Drip. I followed them around for awhile and at one point offered to do their website (i.e. "please be my friend") but he said that they weren't sure they were even going to keep the name. They disappeared soon after.

I think, if compaired side by side there might be an embarassing number of similarities between ATC's sound and some of those old Drip tunes.. oy!

You missed a phenomenal show my friend. YOU would have loved the opener, Laguardia. Beyond the unbelievable sexiness of the singer/guitarist/keyboardist, their music was an unexpected treat. I'm not sure how to describe them, but overall kind of dark. If you can imagine a mix of Radiohead, Ben Folds Five, Soundgarden and Smashing Pumpkins it might be them. The Coachella countdown is on! 10 days!

hey beautiful...i hear that...but if i had to chose between getting burned like i did at work the other day and getting "dropped" by a girl like i also had the priviledge of experiencing the other day...i would say...the burn definitely...the girl thing didn't get far enough to be actually hurt by...only a little bit of feelings...nothing special..
