Well that was a fun one. Anyways. Could not watch the Bellator fights tonight. Apparently lacrosse is better than MMA. I've got nothing against lacrosse but that is simply not true. I here they are plugging the hole with mud & then concrete. Hope it works. Whats next? Sleep and then tomorrow comes. Short work day. Continuing physical therapy for my jacked up shoulder. The injury was getting better. But over the last few days it has stayed the same. I wonder if that is a bad sign? For those of you who dont know I hurt it in my brazilian jiu jitsu class. Got key locked(or was it a kimura) a bit to far by a very large man. My tap out consisted of the following sounds. "Uhhharggguhhh fuck" Then the dude let go. The pain & pressure came on way quick so I skipped the normal tap out and went right to the pain. The dude let go. That was a saturday. On monday I still could not lift the shampoo bottle up into the shower caddy so i went to the doc. They said something like this, "yeah its fucked up a bit. Use the 'rice' method as much as you can and you start physical therapy tomorrow. Could be a rotator cuff tear or something but we have to wait till the initial injury calms down to figure it out.". So yeah it did calm down a bit but now it has stopped getting better. Its stiff all the time and sore most of the time. When i move it in certain ways i get i sharp pain. Guess i have to wait and see. After the physical therapy, which bites big donkey balls by the way, I heard home to prepare for the smashing of the liver and probable worsening of my should injury in a three night event we call Sausage Fest. A bunch of guys from work go out on some drunks property and camp for three days straight. There will be booze galore. Mud and quads. Random grappling matches and yo momma jokes. Maybe a few aristocrats joke. Some more drinking and maybe a nap in there somewhere. Then Monday morning I wake up and wonder why i put myself through this, I'll regret making my shoulder worse and try to drive home hopefully stopping somewhere for some greasy food and a hangover cure. After that though starts my curbing off of my drinking. Im going to try and compete in a BJJ event in July so I need to stop punished my liver for a bit. I slow down at first(maybe only drink a little on the weekends or a good beer at dinner.) and then once i get my shoulder figured out quick all together until after i win everything at the event. lol. Then I go to vegas with my brother and probably some other stuff. Now Im gonna kill this rum N coke, read some MMA stuff, find my hitch hikers guide to the galaxy book, and read until i pass out. Thanks for riding around in my head with me for a bit.
