She was a dark haired beauty with green eyes and a sort of confidence that made you feel real small. We caught each others eyes in the passing mob of a black Friday sale. She looked like the kind of woman that could change a man's life forever. Made me forget where I was heading. But I got to see her. And that was enough.
Actually it was not enough to be perfectly honest. But I am a realist. I'll never see her again. She is now just a ghost of the delusion of perfection we men sometimes see in a women. A phantom long faded but somehow lingering at the same time.
