So should i fake being wrong to avoid a fight?
Simple story is that when i think im right about something i stay that way until i am proven wrong. I plead my case and try to let the other party know why I think i am right. Then they plead there case, but 99% the ideas i have in my head still sound right to me. I think about things a lot. I do not look down on the other person or anything. I just maintain the thinking that I am right. The problem comes because apparently this has evolved into "your always right and I can never be right". That is simply not true at all. Prove me wrong and I will gladly and publicly admit it. I have always done that and have been proven to be wrong many times. But dont expect me to say Im wrong when I still think I am right.
A little more info: The other party get pissed and thinks I am trying to put them down or something when I try to explain why I think the way I do about any subject. If i have an opinion about something and still have my same opinion after they explain what they think to me, it suddenly becomes "I can never be right, Im stupid".
So there is the opening question. Should I pretend to not think Im right? Do I have to trick a person to make them realize that two people can have differing opinions and not being able to change someones mind does not mean they are calling you stupid.
