My muscles hurt.
I didn't know I had muscles in some of these places.
The kitchen has no floor or ceiling anymore.
The new roof is 1/2 up.
The bathroom is partially gutted.
The new hallway has been framed.

I am so excited!!!! I just got Beignet (French pastry thingy) mix I ordered from New Orleans. When I was a little girl my dad would always make them for me on my birthday morning while I watched the Rose Bowl parade. Today my little brother would have turned 25 years old. Instead, he remains eight forever. Well, I got that job.... but it is only part time. I also got a FT job offer at a law firm. Of course the first one pays less, is further away, pt, and has no benefits. The other is located 300 feet from my house, ft, better pay, full benefits, but invovles a bit of soul-selling.

*UPDATE*

J and I are officially moved into our delightful little cottage house. I still have to put everything away, but it's ours and we are 90% settled. This is the most fantastic feeling in the world after the last six weeks of shuffling around from place to place and living out of suitcases. Also, it means I now have internet!!!! YEAH!!!!
